You should be looking for counter arguments. Looking at what the opposition might be can strengthen your argument.
How to integrate research?
Either paraphrase summarize or quote. Regardless citation is important.
- Paraphrase - could be as long as the original source; clarify content in own words
- Summarize - much shorter than the original source; more about condensing.
- Quoting - should be used least; rely less on quoting than on paraphrasing or summary. There should be a strong argument for why the original content must be quoted word for word. Don't allow the quote to stand alone. Give context for why it is there.
