Resonance

When the impedance of the capacitor cancels out the impedance of the conductor. The w0 = R.

Series Resonance

Used to let stuff through. Looks like a short circuit at it's resonance point.

Parallel Resonance

Used to stop stuff from getting through. Looks like a open circuit at it's resonance point. Ic and Il will be out of phase by 180°

Tank Circuit: Stores energy like a tank. In real life this would become a damp sinusoidal.
